Methodology
The formula is the same one used on logentic.nl. It estimates the time AI automation accelerates per task, multiplied by team size and working weeks per year. The numbers are validated against actual customer offers (GD-iTS, Van Donge, PF Douane).
- 5 minutes saved per booking email. Average measured time to triage, classify, and enter a booking confirmation manually into a TMS, before AI extraction.
- 5 minutes saved per B/L processed. Reading the B/L, validating against booking, entering shipment fields. Includes both draft B/Ls and final B/Ls.
- 2 minutes saved per status update. Reading carrier email, finding the shipment in the TMS, updating ETA / vessel / port.
- 5 working days per week, 46 working weeks per year (accounts for public holidays, leave, sick days).
- €30/hour fully-loaded labour rate — midpoint of €27.50–€35 fully-loaded rates from actual customer offers (gross + employer NL-NL social charges + overhead).
- 22 minutes per saved order on average — used to convert freed hours back into a "+X orders per day at the same headcount" metric.
The model assumes 100% of qualifying tasks are addressed by automation. In practice, AI handles 75–95% of well-formatted volume; expect the real-world number to land 10–25% below the calculator's output for the first 6 months while exceptions are tuned. After that, the gap closes.
