Why manual tracking no longer works

Logistics operators spend hours every day looking up container status on carrier portals, copying ETAs into customer emails and manually tracking MRN numbers. A typical forwarding office in Rotterdam is handling dozens to hundreds of active shipments at any given moment. Every delay that is not communicated in time translates into unhappy customers and missed planning windows in the port.

Logentic fully automates this process. Our AI agent monitors your shipments continuously through direct connections with carrier APIs, computes realistic arrival times from live vessel positions, and proactively pushes updates to your customers, by email or WhatsApp, before they need to ask.

Real-time container monitoring via carrier APIs

Logentic is integrated directly with the tracking APIs of all major container shipping lines. The moment a booking or B/L number is created in your system, the agent starts monitoring automatically. Positions, milestones and status changes are retrieved and processed continuously.

MSC & Maersk
Direct API integration with the two largest container lines in the world. Real-time vessel tracking, container events and ETA calculation based on live vessel routing.
CMA CGM & Hapag-Lloyd
Full integration with CMA CGM and Hapag-Lloyd APIs for container tracking, transshipment monitoring and automatic delay detection across every sailing route.
Evergreen, ONE & COSCO
Additional connections with Evergreen, ONE and COSCO to give you full coverage of the Asia-Europe trade lanes that route through Rotterdam and Antwerp.
Portbase integration
Direct integration with Portbase for port arrivals in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Container discharge events, customs status and terminal gate-out messages in real time.

Automated ETA calculation and delay detection

The Logentic AI agent calculates expected times of arrival (ETAs) not only from carrier data, but also by combining it with historical port data, live congestion in Rotterdam/Europoort and known transshipment delays. The moment an ETA shifts by more than 12 hours relative to the original plan, this is detected automatically.

On delay, the agent recalculates a realistic new ETA and proactively informs your team and your customers. Your customer never needs to phone in with the question "when will my container arrive?", the answer has already been sent.

Proactive customer notifications via email and WhatsApp

Logentic sends status updates to your customers automatically at the moments that matter. You configure per customer or per shipment type which notifications are sent and through which channel (email, WhatsApp Business or both). All messages go out in your company's name, in your corporate branding.

Milestone notifications
Automated messages at every key step: departure from the loading port, transshipment, arrival Rotterdam, customs clearance, container available on terminal and final delivery.
Delay alerts
Proactive notification the moment a delay is detected, including the cause (congestion, weather, port restriction) and a revised ETA. Your customer knows before the competition does.

MRN tracking and customs status

For shipments that pass through Customs, Logentic follows the Movement Reference Number (MRN) automatically. The agent continuously checks the status of customs declarations and T1 documents via Portbase and the Customs system. The moment a shipment is cleared, or held for inspection, your team receives an immediate alert.

This eliminates the need to look up MRN statuses manually in the Customs system and prevents containers from sitting unnecessarily on the terminal. In the event of a physical inspection, your team is alerted instantly, so you can take action straight away and limit demurrage costs.

Full milestone tracking per shipment

Every shipment runs through a series of milestones that Logentic records and communicates automatically. From booking to final delivery, each step is captured in a clear timeline that both your team and your customer can consult.

Sea freight milestones
Booking confirmed → Container gate-in → Vessel departed → Transshipment → Vessel arrived RTM → Discharged → Customs cleared → Gate-out → Delivered.
Road transport milestones
Pick-up scheduled → Collected → In transit → Border crossing → Delivered. Including CMR status and GPS tracking where available through carrier integration.

Integration with your existing systems

Logentic works alongside your existing TMS, such as CargoWise, Softpak or Descartes. Status updates and ETA changes are written back automatically to your operational system. Your operators no longer have to switch between carrier portals, Portbase and their own TMS, everything is processed centrally by the AI agent.

The integration is bidirectional: new bookings from your TMS are picked up automatically by Logentic, and every status change is reported back in real time. This keeps your system up to date without human intervention.
